Aside from that, this movie teaches us how to create our own destiny. We must not allow society or anybody else to tell us who we should be. Mycroft, Enola's other brother, encourages her to learn how to behave like a "true woman," since Mycroft feels it is how women should behave. But Enola defies all expectations and standards; she does her own thing and follows her heart.
