The Role of Teachers in Facing Indonesia's Golden Generation in 2045 Throught Character Education

Rimba Ayu is a Civics teacher at a junior high school in Ngawi Regency. Every day she teaches at SMPN 1 Karangjati, starting from grades 7 to 9. She has worked as a junior high school teacher since 1999 until now at SMPN 1 Karangjati. For her, being a junior high school teacher at SMPN 1 Karangjati is an extraordinary job that is rewarding and fun. This can be seen from Mrs. Rimba Ayu's personality who is quite smiling and energetic in teaching her students. Mrs. Rimba Ayu is also very active in giving Civics lessons about the importance of character education for the successor of the Indonesian nation.  On several occasions, Mrs. Rimba has been a representative of her school to accompany her students in a quiz competition in Surabaya at the provincial level.  So that the knowledge she gets can be shared with fellow SMPN 1 Karangjati teachers. 

On day on August 22, 2022, She is an exemplary teacher in SMPN 1 Karangjati because he received a certificate of appreciation from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, namely Mr. Joko Widodo, who conferred the sign of honor "Satyalanca Karya Satya" to civil servants who have worked with full loyalty to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the state and government and with full devotion, honesty, skill, and discipline continuously for at least 10 years, 20 years and 30 years.  From the charter it is clear that Mrs. Rimba Ayu is an exemplary and disciplined teacher who should be appreciated and emulated by all teachers. because it is rare in her school, getting it is certainly difficult. of the many teachers in her school only 2 teachers got it, including her.

Education has been positioned as the most strategic means to prepare human resources to be ready to realize the future golden Indonesia. This is because it is the world of education that directly deals with students. Among the most influential components of education in preparing these human resources is the role of teachers. This is why, because the role of the teacher is very important in the golden Indonesia 2045 because the teacher instills the spirit of nationalism and patriotism in the broadest sense. he teaches character education to his students. Namely that it has 5 values, namely religion, nationalism, independence,  mutual cooperation, and also integrity. 

The realization of the Golden Indonesia 2045 with the main factor is generation Z and education which determines the Golden Indonesia in 2045. why is that because education is the determinant in the golden Indonesia, therefore quality education must continue to be pursued by all parties. Teachers are the key actors of change in order to produce religious, intelligent, productive, reliable and comprehensive Indonesian humans through excellent learning services for their students, so as to realize the golden generation of 2045.  The success factor to face the Golden Indonesia 2045 is the role of exemplary teachers because teachers are the source of exemplary students who will facilitate the application of behavioral values for children. The teacher is a imitated. This is because what is conveyed by the teacher, both oral and written, can be trusted and believed to be true by all students. Teachers will also be imitated, because a teacher must be a role model in every action.

"The role of teachers in character education is very important by improving student learning better, teachers have the task of making quality learning, useful learning and providing learning that is relevant to the world of work," Mrs. Rimba Ayu said, Monday (22/0523).

This great vision of Indonesia will be realized by providing insights to generation Z and providing ideas about the Golden Indonesia 2045. This great vision is in sight and will be a year that the Indonesian people look forward to. The second factor in education is school as one of the solutions in forming students with character through character education. One of the ways is by doing tips to educate the nation's next generation, of course one of them is through school.
