The Condition of Islam and The Practice of Diplomacy

Some Byzantine territories such as Palestine and Syria were conquered by Umar. This meant that the Byzantine superpower had been weakened by Umar. While the Byzantine center in Constantinople was untouched and it was only in the 15th century that it was subdued by Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih of the Ottoman Empire, henceforth being renamed Istanbul. 

While the Persian empire was defeated and controlled by Umar. Thus, a world superpower that has ruled the eastern hemisphere for hundreds of years. The Persian superpower destroyer naturally rose to the position of becoming a new superpower. That is the State of Medina with Umar bin Khattab as its leader. So, from that moment on, there have been two superpowers in this world; Byzantium and Medina State.

Only a short time, about 10 years after the Prophet Muhammad died, Islam under the leadership of Umar has become the world's super power. This is an astonishing achievement, moreover Umar's reign was relatively short, only 10 years. The equivalent of two periods of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's leadership in Indonesia. Umar bin Khattab is very amazing in the recorded history of the world. He is told as a perfect leader; simple, firm, brave, never breaking promises and upholding justice for all beings. His glorious leadership was appreciated by all parties, including non-Muslims. Michael H Hart (1978) put his name on the list of the most influential figures that have ever existed on earth. Umar was ranked 50 out of 100 world figures throughout history. Fantastic
