What is Global Warming?
Global warming is a huge issue that has given the attention of everyone in the world. The Earth's surface is going into a lot of changes, which are mostly driven by human actions or activities that release the greenhouse gases into the earth's surface. Greenhouse gasses are gasses that are absorbing radiation and keeps them in the earth's surface, like a blanket. This blog will be written about the causes and consequences of global warming.
 Causes of Global Warming
The Primary cause of global warming is the heat from the earth's surface rising, they are called "greenhouse gasses.". Greenhouse gasses are developed by Human activities, such as the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial work, releasing large quantities of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O) into the atmosphere. The gasses trap heat and create a greenhouse effect, leading to a higher increase in the Earth's average temperature. The burning of fossil fuels for energy production, transportation, and industrial activities is the largest contributor to the rising levels of greenhouse gases.
Consequences of Global Warming
The consequences of global warming are negatively impacting various aspects of the Earth's surface and climate system. One of the most visible and primary effects is the rise in the earth's surface temperature, leading to changes in weather patterns and more frequent and severe  extreme weather events. Sea levels rising which are caused by the melting of polar ice caps and glaciers, which gives a significant threat to coastal areas, resulting in the loss of land, displacement of populations, and increased risk of flooding.
Changes in precipitation patterns and the frequency of droughts and heatwaves affect agriculture, leading to reducing crop yields and less food in many regions. Ecosystems are also under stress as changing climate conditions disrupt the natural habitats of numerous plant and animal species, additionally, the increasing frequency and intensity of hurricanes, wildfires, and other natural disasters which have a significant economic and social consequences.
How to Stop Global Warming
Everyone can help to stop the heat in our earths surface going even more higher, we dont want our earth to burn like toast so these are 3 ways to stop global warming from growing even more:
- Save energy at home:
Most of the electricity that we use is powered with gas, oil or coal which increase the global warming in the earth, so we should lower the use of it example: washing our laundry with cold water and hanging shirts on the roof to dry instead of using dryers
- Walking or cycling:
Most of the earths transportation is filled with diesel or patrol which gives greenhouse gasses, if we are going to somewhere close to us its better we walk or cycle and its also healthier for us. For longer distances we should use trains or busses, they do not take a lot of diesel and petrol.
- Eating more vegetables:Â
