Missing Points are the cause of the failure of many Novice Entrepreneurs.

Starting a business means a person will experience ups and downs in achieving the company's business goals. Company owners may experience various unpleasant things, such as business failure. Business failure is a condition where the business cannot produce profitable production and will generally result in default, bankruptcy, or business closure. The company cannot make money because its revenues alone can not cover its costs. This usually occurs due to various factors, such as the market targeted by the company having quite tight competition, poor operational management of the company, limited access to funding, inadequate human resources, and low market and marketing knowledge. No matter how good the quality of the product or service is, consumers will not buy it if they don't know about its existence. Even though the products and services that you offer are very unique, you still have to try so that their uniqueness is conveyed to the target consumer. For that, the first step that must be taken is to make consumers want to buy your product. Raising brand awareness of your social enterprise can also have long-term effects. positive. This is important to ensure your social business survives and continues to thrive. In addition, marketing is closely related to supporting the success of a brand or company, so it plays an important role in determining the income of a company. Various marketing techniques can be used by companies, but in general, they forget the most important thing, which is to build social awareness about their business. Social awareness is the ability to recognize and feel the emotions of others and is an ability that also depends on self-awareness (Goleman, 1995 and 1998; Boyatzis, 1999). Social awareness includes three competencies, namely empathy, organizational awareness, and others' pattern recognition. Empathy is talking about setting up a sensitivity radar. I especially like the radar because it allows me to feel what other people are feeling without being "stuck" in those feelings. Empathy is also not just feeling, but being able to determine what next steps should be taken from that understanding. Organizational awareness This is an important lesson that is rarely taught, not even in schools. I can read an organization's name. Sometimes, what is written in the organization is not what actually happened. There is something that is not written, but it seems as if it has become a common habit. The ability to read organizations is especially important in organizations that sometimes have a lot of "political" agendas in them. Reading the organization also allows a person to position himself appropriately.Others Pattern Recognition This is an ability related to recognizing, memorizing, and understanding the habit patterns, attitude patterns, and response patterns of the people around them. Thus, he already knows, can predict and even anticipate the response of those closest to him, whether at home, at work or in other nearby environments.

A businessman must be able to prioritize customers when starting a business.Customer satisfaction is one factor that will affect how the business will develop in the future. Customer satisfaction can be created if the business can provide skilled service, high quality products, acceptable prices for consumers, and targeted marketing strategies. Businesses that are not able to predict the satisfaction of consumers will be less likely to have loyal consumers, which can result in bankruptcy due to competition with other business ventures. So, the company must be able to design the right strategy so that not only can consumers be interested, but also that consumers feel satisfied with the products or services offered. However, to attract consumers with business products or services, the products need to match the value that businesspeople want to provide to consumers. In shaping the value of the product, the sensitivity of the product maker to the target market is very important. Thus, social awareness becomes one of the keys to the success of the value proposition that the product will offer to consumers.

A value preposition is an explanation of why customers should choose to use the products offered. This is closely related to customer value. Consumers assume that the value of the product is a promise given by a product that will be enjoyed by consumers. If the consumer's experience using the product is satisfactory, the consumer can become a loyal customer and will become an indirect "agent" of the company, inviting others to try similar products. But if the customer does not get what the product's value is, the customer will feel disappointed and will not use the product again. Of course, this will result in the absence of repeat orders and the emergence of poor judgment from customers, which will cause a negative stigma for prospective new buyers. Analytical skills and empathy for problems are required for product design. A good product is one that can not only solve the problems experienced by the target consumer but also environmental problems. Thus, product designers are expected to have sensitivity to the environment and also social awareness. Products whose value does not apply to social awareness can cause harm not only to the community but also the environment. This is because the products produced will have no reference to the ethics, values, and morals of society. As a result, the product may cause losses and potentially harm, disrupt, or pollute humans or the environment.

Individuals or groups' ability to see things from other people's perspectives and empathize with people from different origins and cultures is referred to as social awareness. Shifting our concentration for a moment and thinking about the people around us is what social awareness is all about. Some of us may find it difficult to do so, particularly if we are frequently wrapped up in our own thoughts. To be able to identify and understand how the people around us feel and think, every one of us must eliminate selfishness and selfish thinking. One approach can be summed up in a single word: "consideration." It all boils down to thinking about how our thoughts, feelings, and actions affect other people. Companies in Indonesia are also required to participate in social awareness programs. In Indonesian law, there are various provisions that regulate social awareness, including CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). One of the several articles regulating CSR is found in Law Number 40 of 2007, article 74. There, it was stated that CSR is one of the company's responsibilities and that companies that fail to carry out these activities will face consequences. Being good: in this situation, CSR automatically becomes valuable to a company.

CSR (corporate social responsibility) actions carried out by a corporation are unquestionably linked to the firm, and they are also governed by Indonesian state law. In this sense, a company's social awareness efforts, such as CSR, have become the company's own value proposition. Companies whose value proposition (in this case, CSR) is not met will face consequences, as described in the previous paragraph. Article 74 of Law No. 40 of 2007's third item regulates this as well. According to Antara News in 2019, hundreds of private palm oil enterprises in West Sumatra are examples of companies that do not practice CSR and are facing sanctions. The danger from the government is that the palm oil company's business license would be terminated.

A good company value is a company that has social awareness or pays attention to consumers with skilled service and also obeys CSR regulations. In fact, only 5% of disappointed clients will file a complaint with the company. That is, the remaining 95% will leave and will not come back again. Those 5% of clients will tell at least 10 other people, or maybe more, about their bad experiences. Therefore, the importance of social awareness in the company and paying attention to consumers increases. For example, like Qlapa, Qlapa is a staged commercial center that sells various Indonesian handicrafts. Many admire Qlapa. Because this stage does not only sell products, but also helps craftsmen throughout the archipelago expand their market. However, in 2019, Qlapa had to face a bad reality. The business must stop operating. This is because the management of Qlapa admits that they "can not make Qlapa a profitable and sustainable business". There are several factors circulating regarding the cause of Qlapa's closure. However, the popular reason is that they are not able to compete with the giant commercial centers. because Qlapa only focuses on artisanal products. Meanwhile, in terms of price and product variety, giant commercial centers are still far superior. Of course, this is important to note because these two aspects could be the reason why potential buyers leave Qlapa.

So, we can get some important things like customer satisfaction, which is one of the factors that will affect how the business will develop in the future. Therefore, social awareness is a determinant of the company's success. and also a value proposition to measure whether a product or service is in accordance with what is needed by the customer. This is also contained in the article of the Indonesian Law which regulates social awareness, specifically regarding CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

As we know, social awareness in the business world is something that should be done by every business group anywhere because in business there must be such a thing as consumers and consumers must have different satisfaction values so that social awareness will determine a consumer's assessment of a product or service in a business group. The power of social awareness is also regulated by the law and CSR, which carries out its function as a supporter of business groups in carrying out social awareness actions.

However, we need to remember that social awareness is not an obstacle for business people in running their business. On the contrary, social awareness will be the basis for businessmen to develop their business by considering the circumstances and needs of the environment or product market so that it is easily accepted by consumers in all aspects ranging from quality, function, and price to match. Social awareness is actually a mutualism that benefits both parties, namely business people who benefit and customers who get satisfaction. Therefore, social awareness is very much needed in all forms of business to help businesses develop their business in the future without any fear of obstacles due to social awareness.
