Fabrication Laboratory Education held a workshop on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. This workshop carried the theme of 3D modeling by utilizing Tinkercad. The participants of the workshop were students from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, most of whom came from the Chemistry Education Study Program. They were provided with 3D modeling concepts, the software used in 3D modeling, and they also tried making their own 3D models.
The workshop began with an opening speech from Ms. Triannisa Rahmawati, M.Si., followed by content delivery by Ms. Miarti Khikmatun Nais, M.Pd., and a practical session led by Vito Winata Haunan. The 3D model created during the practical session was a simple representation of a laboratory room. The participants were guided to design workbenches and laboratory tables, and they were given the freedom to determine the sizes and colors used. It is hoped that the students will be able to apply the knowledge gained to develop innovations that are useful for the field of education or for preparing their own careers.
