The Development of Akhlak is in Line with The Times

The development of technology and information will continue to move with the times. The rapid development of the times, especially in the field of technology and information, makes this world feel very different. Everything now feels very easy due to the help of existing technological developments. Even the vast world feels easy to reach with the presence of technology. Technological developments also affect our lives today, especially our social lives. The difference in social life that occurs today is more pronounced when we look at the younger generation today. Social life that was previously active in communicating and socializing with each other directly, is now starting to be replaced by social media life.

Social media seems to be a new world for the younger generation. Everything in the real world can be done on social media, from shopping, and working, to just spending free time or looking for entertainment. However, with the presence of social media, the young people who use it have no restrictions in accessing it, and parents are actually needed to monitor this. But on the other hand now parents cannot control what their children do for a full 24 hours. Therefore we need a way out for this, how children can enjoy the development of existing technology, but still be able to enjoy the technology with positive things or know their limits in knowing or playing something, especially in social media.

This is where the role of akhlak comes in, with adjustments to the existing times, now akhlak are not only in our social life. As our parents have taught us to always behave or have good akhlak to anyone and anywhere. But with the development of the times that exist now, akhlak should also be implemented in social media life. As the next generation of young people who understand technology, we should have social media akhlak. Before entering into social media akhlak, we should first know what akhlak are in general.

In language, akhlak are an absorption from Arabic and the plural form of Khuluq which means character or behavior. On the other hand, in terminology, akhlak are a manifestation of an attitude that is constant and spontaneous and does not require thought to do so. In short, character is a person's behavior in life, whether it is good character or bad character. Akhlak becomes an inner picture of a person that is manifested or manifested and shown through behavior and daily life. Maybe in the past, akhlak could be seen when we met and knew someone and by looking at someone's behavior. But with the development of the times, akhlak can now be seen through how a person behaves on social media as well.

As a young generation and the next generation of the nation, we should have good akhlak, especially in the nation and state. The times and technological developments do not prevent us from practicing or practicing good akhlak. We should be able to adapt to the changing times, but still be able to implement the akhlak of today. The collaboration between the implementation of the akhlak of the nation and the social life of the younger generation is now a new challenge for the nation's next generation. How can they still implement good akhlak in the midst of their social life which is now dominated by life on social media. How will they bring the good name of our nation in front of other nations, and how to maintain the integrity of our country through today's social media life.

THE ROLE OF YOUNG GENERATION AKHLAK IN THE NATION AND STATE

With the development of the times everything seems to change, as well as the saying that I have always known, namely:

"Your Mouth Your Tiger"

But with the changing times, the saying seems to follow the existing times, and now reads:

"Your fingers Your Tiger"

The saying means be careful with the words that come out of your mouth, but now the saying adapts to the existing times and now means be careful with your typing, especially on social media.

1. Keeping the Nation's Good Name Through Social Media

Social media makes it easy for us to reach everyone around the world. This makes all news, events, behavior or others from a country very easy to spread. As a young generation who are the majority of social media users. We should be able to be akhlak citizens or social media users in commenting, or disseminating content.  Keep your ethics in commenting and creating content. Make positive content and comments, show that Indonesian citizens have good akhlak. The young generation of Indonesia is able to use social media for positive things, such as introducing Indonesian traditions to the international scene, providing constructive suggestions and criticism to posts that need it, and providing support to people or groups that should be helped.

2. Maintaining National Harmony Through Social Media

As the next generation of the nation, we should also maintain peace and harmony within our own country. Social media is a new way to do this, with the nature of social media that is easy to spread. The young generation does not want to be pitted on social media, sometimes with posts that provoke the anger of netizens, the young generation begins to be divided because of differences of opinion. Do not be easy to be divided, be a smart young generation of social media users. Apply akhlak in social media, don't be easily provoked by bad posts or comments on social media. Use social media to be a means of unifying the nation, and use social media to unite the differences that exist in Indonesia.

3. Educating through Social Media

As citizens, we can not only comment but we can also spread content or posts on our social media. Social media akhlak play an active role in protecting the nation's young generation to be selective in disseminating or posting content on social media. As akhlak citizens in social media, we should post content that is educative and provides valid information. Social media is not a place to spread hoax news or a place to seek sensation. As the next generation of the nation, use social media to be a place to work, discuss, and spread positive content. Do not use social media to pit people against each other or start a debate, let alone spread hoaxes. Be a akhlak netizen in social media.

So, with the rapid development of this era and the presence of social media as a new means of interaction. We as the next generation, who are the majority of social media users, should be able to maintain akhlak in social media. Use social media to maintain the good name of the nation and even introduce the culture and beauty of our nation at the international level. Make social media a means to maintain national harmony, unifying the differences that exist in Indonesia. Make social media a place to spread positive, educative content, as well as valid and trustworthy information. Then become the next generation of the nation and netizens who have akhlak in social media that can contribute to the nation and state. Show the akhlak role of the next generation of young people in the nation and state.
