How To Be Happy

Happiness is a simple world, but it has a deep meaning. What is the true meaning of happiness? I think everyone has their own opinion and view about the meaning of happiness itself. It is revealed that happiness has little to do with materialistic needs, goods, wants, or high achievement that boils down to our outlook in life, the quality of our relationship, even the basic amenities of life. However, many people still feel anxious about life for along time till they had a sudden realization that they are in danger of wasting time without being in happiness. That is way you have to enjoy your life by doing everything to make your life happy such as be optimistic, make enough money to meet basic needs, treat your body like it deserves to be happy, stay close to friends and family, be compassionate, make friends, forgive, and smile.

The first thing that you can do to make your life happy is being optimistic. Everyone has their baseline level of happiness, but there is no clear measurement. Happiness depends on what you think. No matter what happens, good or bad, your thought influences your feeling. For example, thinking of your current situation that maybe seems very hard, then try to think of how much harder some other people have it. Just be happy and think that you are not in the worst situation.

Money is not everything but happiness is. In one way, I agree with that statement because it is clearly shown that some people can not live happily although they have oodles of money. But, in the other side you have to think twice that money is a media to get happiness. Oodles of money doesn’t always make you happy. That’s why you should only make enough money to support your basic needs like food, shelter, clothes, etc.

It sounds chessy to say, but actually your brain is not the only organ in your body that deserves to be happy. Some people commonly entertain themselves just for refreshing brain. They ignore doing entertainment not only for their brain but also for other supporting organs. Have you ever think that another parts of your body needs entertainment too? Researches have found that doing exercise, healthy diets, and regular sleep are also important in growing happier. For example is get enough sleep. The more sleep you get, the happier you tend to be. If you are middle-age, shoot to get at least eight hours of sleep per night, the young and elderly should shoot for nine until eleven hours of sleep per night.

Having in a good relationship with family and friends can increase feeling of happiness. For example, in this mobile society, people have to move from one place to another place just for getting greater salary or better living. Moreover, they should leave their family and friends. As a result, some of them feel so lonely and live like in solitary life. So, where is the happiness? Is that a better living with greater salary? Of course not. Happiness is the togetherness with family or friends, completed with welfare of living.

Happiness is something that you can share with others. Doing something kind for someone in need or someone less privilaged than yourself is one way to share happiness. That is called as compassionate. Give person in need food, clothes, or shelter is the basic things that people commonly forget to think, yet it is easy to do.

There are many forms of relationship, it can be a small or a big circle of relationship, but one thing that is considered to be the best thing is friendship. That’s why you have to make friends with others as much as possible. When you interact with people to share your interests, you can feel happier because during such interactions, neurotransmitters responsible for feelings of happiness and relaxation are released into the body.

Forgiveness is such a hard thing to do.  But believe it or not, an attitude of forgiveness contributed to better cardiovascular health. It directly affects to your heart because it may lower the perception of stress.

Every people should create their own happiness. When you are smille, no matter you are happy or not, your mood is elevated. People who smile during their painfulness can reduce pain than those who kept in silent and neutral face.

Some people pursue the real meaning of happiness. You may create your own happiness, starting with a small thing like smile. Then you can share it with others. In addition, don’t worry about your life or what may happen tomorrow or it doesnt happen, it means that you are worried in vain. So, instead of worrying, it should be better if you do something good and positive thinking, and also ask God for help.
