ABSTRACT
The implementation of think pair share strategy in teaching reading in English subjects at SMA  , Department of English  High School
The method used in this research is an experimental study by collecting data both directly and indirectly to obtain accurate information about the author's research object, the data sources used are secondary and primary data, and data collection techniques using observation, tests (pre-test and post-test), and documentation.
Some of the problem formulations in this research are whether there are the most dominant differences that influence English learning outcomes in the application of think pair share. Based on the problem formulation above, this research aims to find out what factors influence the implementation of think pair share
The first step is to conduct interviews with teachers and students at school to collect some of the data needed. After the data has been collected, the final step is to conclude.
The research results showed a significant improvement in the experimental class compared to the control class. The experimental class experienced an increase in the average score from 71.03 on the pre-test to 89.77 on the post-test, while the control class only increased from 70.06 to 73.54. Statistical analysis produced a t-value of 22.13, far exceeding the t-table of 1.995 ( = 0.05), indicating a very significant difference between the two groups.
