The Greedy Dog

Once upon a time, there was a dog named Sparky. He lives with other pack of dogs, which consist of different breeds of dogs, whether big or small. They often roam around in the wild to look for food and water. 

One day when he was hunting with other dogs he saw a big meat well enough to feed  few of the dogs.  "Look Sparky, we should bring it to the others" his friend exclaimed. Sparky fell silent for a few seconds, then he rushed to grab the meat and quickly fled out, despite his friend call out for his name he kept running, not wanting to share his hunt. 

After a long run, he stopped on his track, looking to the other end of the riverside, 'perhaps i should get across so they wouldn't catch up on me' he thought to himself, as he started to cross the river by the tree log, he notice another dog bellow him that also holding a meat on his mouth. Greed overcame him, that he wanted to take the meat away from the other dog. He barked at the dog as he threatened him, but by doing that the meat that he held fell into the river. As he watched the meat got washed away by the river flow, he tried to catch up on it but ended up fell into the river. Sparky tried his best to swim up, as he held into a wooden log using his last strength against the river flow. Suddenly something tried to pull out sparky from the river, it was the other dogs holding together the wood log that sparky held.

As they successfully pulled Sparky out from the river, Sparky cried as he apologized to his friends, regretted what he had done, betraying his own friends for his own greediness.  "It's okay Sparky we forgive you" said one of the dogs. Sparky felt relief, and he promised to his friends and himself that he shouldn't acted selfish. Finally the dogs decided to return back finding more food, as Sparky followed behind he looked back at the river, it finally hits him, that all this time he had been staring at his reflection. He realized that his own greediness had blinded him, that it made him didn't even notice his own reflection.
