Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in culture. Starting from Sabang to Merauke, there are various types of culture that have their own characteristics. Culture is a way of life that develops in a community group where this way of life is maintained and passed on from generation to generation. One of them is the Procedure for Eating at the Tulude Ceremony. 

The problem raised in writing this assignment is about how the people of the Sangihe archipelago hold this traditional ceremony. The purpose of this study itself is to find out how the form of the implementation of the Tulude ceremony is.

The type of this research is descriptive which is expected to provide an overview to the readers. As for the type of approach the researcher uses qualitative methods because in this study it does not require calculations. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and the use of document materials from both print and mass media.

From these results it can be seen that this activity was organized by the people of the Sangihe Archipelago with the aim of showing their gratitude to God Almighty for guiding and blessing the previous year, and who had allowed them to be in the new year, with gratitude this is "Saliwang Banua" held

I. INTRODUCTION.
As for what is meant by "saliwang banua" and education, it is described at the beginning of this article, so that it becomes a reference in understanding it

1. "Saliwang Banua".

Is another name for "Tulude", now known as the People's Party in the land of Sangihe. Referring to this understanding, the subject and or the perpetrator is the Sangihe community. That means, the education contained in the "saliwang banua" eating procedure is a tradition of the Sangihe land community.
