Gibran Rakabuming Raka's Journey Behind His Vice Presidential Aspirations

The first son from Joko Widodo, the president of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka as known as Gibran Raka who is the mayor of Solo onward to be the vice president candidate.

He was born on October 1, 1987 in Surakarta. He spent his childhood in Surakarta until pass his junior high school. His senior high school life continued in Orchid Park Secondary School, Singapore. After passing from senior high school, Gibran continued his study in Management Development Institute of Singapore and graduated in 2007, and later he continued his study in the Insearch Program in University of Technology Sydney Insearch, Sydney, Australia and graduated in 2010. 

After finishing his study, Gibran returned to Indonesia and focused on business. Some businesses he built focus on food and beverage, service, equipment and start-up. In 2020, Gibran started his political career by registering to be part of Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDIP). In the next year, Gibran officially became mayor of Solo. Now, Gibran is a candidate for vice president Prabowo Subianto.
