Prabowo Subianto's Journey: From Military Service to Presidential Aspirationss

Prabowo Subianto Djojohadikusumo is a son from a family who had a good impact in Indonesia. He was born in Jakarta, October 17, 1951. His academic way constantly moves to follow his father's business which was against Soekarno's presidency. After the rise of the Orde Baru, Prabowo and his family returned to Indonesia. Prabowo continued his military academy in Akademi Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Indonesia (Akabri) in Magelang and graduated in 1974. After his graduation, his military career started in Kopassandha (Komandan Pasukan Sandi Yudha) which is pioneering Kopassus (Komando Pasukan Khusus) in Indonesia. In march 1998, Prabowo reached his peak career being Pangkostrad (Panglima Cadangan Angkatan Darat). After Soeharto's presidency ended in May 1998, Prabowo ended his career in the military and focused on business. He developed his business in Jordan and Germany and also Indonesia with business on plantations, mining, palm oil, and coal. After all of his career, he started being a politician and joined Partai Golkar as advisor. In 2008 he founded Partai Gerindra and joined the Indonesian Presidential Election as the Vice of Megawati Soekarno Putri in 2009. Prabowo joined as President Candidate 2 times and now he is onward again to be candidate in the presidential election of Indonesia 2024. Prabowo and his vice, Gibran Rakabuming onward with support by Partai Gerindra, Partai Golkar, Partai Demokrat, and Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) and also Partai Bulan Bintang (PBB) Partai Gelora, Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI), Partai Garuda, and Partai Rakyat Adil Makmur (Prima).
