It is another good news for Kang Ji Hwan’s fans. His latest movie, “Runway Cop”, wil have a roadshow in Japan starting Januari 26th,2013.
Actor Kang Ji Hwan (35) held a leading role as detective Cha. He played two different characters in the same time. Detective Cha was a fat and reckless guy. One day, He was forced to change his appearance to be a super model for the task of disguise.
He had to gain weight in short time to play this character and it’s not easy for him. Runway Cop’s shooting took a few months, at starting from October 19th , 2011 to Januari 20th , 2012. Sung Yu Ri,the supporting actress who has ever collaborated with him in drama Hong Gil Dong (2008), was his partner in this movie.
Wee Geun-Woo, the reporter who has interviewed him in 2009, said,”Kang is not the most handsome nor the most talented actor. But he has played roles are unique to his character as an actor and thus we have far more interesting films that we can enjoy watching in him. That is probably the biggest harvest that artistic creators and audiences have gained from an actor called Kang Ji-Hwan.”
