behind the crimson veil of dusk's embrace
lies an unquenchable thirst, a relentless chase
those who perch upon the lofty throne
hunt for power, never satisfied, alone
they dance in the relentless circles high
chasing ambitions, their hearts left awry
ignoring the wishes of the people's voice
they seek only the throne, power's shallow choice
they forget that power's source, in truth, does lie
within the people's hearts, where hope can't die
yet they're entranced by wealth and high command
forgetting promises in the shifting sand
corruption and injustice freely roam
while the masses suffer, helpless in their home
the power-hungry feast, without remorse
as the people cry and endure life's force
but one day, the people will rise and stand
no longer will they yield to the command
they'll demand justice, truth, and what is right
ousting those thirsty for power's delight
for true power lies within the people's hand
serving them with honor, taking a bold stand
a leader's worth is not in endless thirst
but in the service of a nation, placed first
