To use the Sterling Bank transfer code, simply dial *822# from your registered phone number with the bank. A menu will pop up that shows various options for transactions. To transfer money, select option 1, which is “Transfer”. You will be prompted to enter the account number of the recipient, the amount to be transferred, and the account type (whether it is a Sterling Bank account or another bank account). Lastly, you will be required to enter your transfer PIN to authenticate the transaction.
