Program Introduction "Digital Marketing" Batch 2 in Rumah BUMN (RuBY) Yogyakarta

Recently, Students of Communication at Aisyiyah University, Yogyakata who have taken their 5th semester have implemented Campus Independent Learning (MBKM). 'Kampus Mandiri' or Off-Campus Learning is a more flexible learning system. This independent campus program gives rights to students to take courses outside the study program and convert Credits Course (SKS).

For 1 semester, Communication Studies students at 'Aisyiyah Yogyakata University conducted MBKM lectures at Rumah BUMN (RuBY) Yogyakarta . At the first meeting on Tuesday, 05 October 2022, Ruby explained the program that students would carry out for the next 3 months. In this program there are 20 Unisa Communication Science Students and 10 Yogyakarta UMKM. During this activity, students are required to carry out MSME branding through digital marketing.


Before product branding, students and UMKM were divided into 10 groups. In one group there is 1 UMKM and 2 students who are in charge of branding products from UMKM in each group.

In addition, at this first meeting, students and UMKM were given class rules which we will implement. Like the material that we will get 2 times a week (Tuesday Morning and Friday Afternoon). Studying at Rumah BUMN  (BuBY) Yogyakarta was very enjoyable. Apart from gaining new knowledge, students and UKM get good facilities while studying at Ruby.

Yesterday, everyone had a good meeting between the students and the UMKM concerned. The UMKM that have joined are also very diverse, ranging from clothing, food, to flower shops. With various types of MSMEs, Unisa Science and Technology students are very enthusiastic about this MBKM program.

In addition, UMKM are very happy to do this collaboration with students. Because they introduce their products to the outside through social media. As it is known that Unisa Communication Science Students must be able to master the digital world. Moreover, these students are the young generation Z who were born in the era of technological development.
