In literal meaning, sayur means vegetable. Here the vegetable is papaya which is cut like matches sticks and string beans. Those are boiled on coconut milk with the spices of onion, garlic, red chili, hazelnut, shrimp paste, lemon grass leaf, galangal, and pepper powder plus sugar and salt.
3. Egg
Egg is boiled together when cooking sayur.
