6. Pepper
7. Garlic
I did not see directly when they cooked it, but what I know the way to cook it (It may not perfect recipe yet, just a little information from my Uzbek friends) is first of all heat the oil in the iron pot in the medium heat. After the oil is heat enough put chicken meat, onions, carrots, and garlic together into that pot. Stir for around 7 minutes. Don't forget to add salt and pepper. Put away the meat. Then stew the meat in boiling water for around 1 hour or less for having soft texture of meat. The next step is to mix rice with meat sauce, onions, carrots, and garlic. There can be specific ways to mix it but it can be simply told that mix it together carefully upon the stove. Do not stir it directly, let them naturally blend for several minutes before finally you stir it....and that's all. Pilaf is ready to serve.
When serving it, you can add salad to make it fresher containing cucumber, tomatoes, and chives. Yes, I was happy that day. I feel like Uzbek man spending the time with my brothers and sister. Thank you to Gulnaz, Maksud, and Akmal for this cultural experience and made me say "We are truly happy family!"Follow Instagram @kompasianacom juga Tiktok @kompasiana biar nggak ketinggalan event seru komunitas dan tips dapat cuan dari Kompasiana.
