Interpreting is the process of repeating aloud what a person has said in another language. Communication with clients and speakers is the first process of interpreting. An interpreter listens to speakers of one language, listens to what is being said, changes words to another meaning, and changes the meaning back to words in another language. The interpreter then uses the tools of the target language to restate understanding and meaning.
Interpreters can translate without reference materials such as dictionaries. Therefore an interpreter must have cognitive skill such as understanding the message directly what said by the speaker.
