Google is also blamed as one of the biggest causes of misinformation. So, apart from its role in helping humans, can Google be said to be one of the causes of humans being dumber? In a sense, stupid that is meant is lazy, or maybe less observant in sorting out the correct information?

British scientist Trevor Bayliss voiced this concern. Trevor is best known for the invention of the crank-powered radio.

"Kids must be taught to be independent, not dependent on cellphones or computers. They are currently too dependent on Google searches," said Trevor, who has earned an "OBE" knighthood from the British empire.

Many children become brain dead if they are too dependent on the internet, because they will not be able to do something by trying, so they will depend on the internet.

Google and the internet make us lazy to think, because all the answers have been provided by Google. This is counter productive in the sense that technology itself is created as a progressive tool to make us smarter.

The internet has found a way to receive and process information instantly without any effort on our part. It seems we have lost our ability to think. That's how Google makes us lazy, by relying on Google for everything, especially when it comes to information.
