That is the title of the book i just finished reading last night. It tells the story of 4 years old who had comma for a couple hours. In his comma, Colton-what he is called- encountered a vision of heaven. His father, Todd Burpo, a lutheran priest in a small town in US, tried to collect pieces of stories he and his wife could remember during the years that passed.
Colton, during his soul visit to Heaven, could clearly describe the heaven in a four year old boy's words. He could clearly express God's amazing love for human beings. He tells about Jesus who is seated at the right side of God the Father, and archangel Gabriel who seated at God's left side. He met his deceased great grandparents and his miscarriaged sister whom both now have wings, just like the angels. There is no days and nights in heaven. Everything was shined by God's light.
I believe this is a trully life changing story for everyone who reads it, regardless of their faith. At least it reminds us that death is not the end of life. Instead, it transforms our physical life into a peaceful spiritual form. It also reminds us that while still living in this physical world, we have to be mindful to accept God in our heart. There will be no late if we want to turn our face to God since God is love and so merciful. Every single soul really matters to God. That way, we will be ready when our times come. At that time, death won't be so scary anymore.
