Computer and Kids

Kids and computers are nearly inseparable these days. With many school-age kids and even preschoolers spending hours in front of a computer every day, it's worth considering what effects computers might have on your children's eyes and their vision. Technology is one of the most valuable tools that we have available at our finger tips every day. You can find important information, buy something, order something and even can get a new friend by your smart phone, tablet especially computer. Is computer use bad for a child's eyes? Does it help or hurt school performance? Should kids wear computer glasses at school?

More and more families have computers in their homes and children spend a great deal of their free time using their home computers, there are some advantages and disadvantages of this situation, they are:

THE ADVANTAGES

• Academic growth is one of the best advantages of computer to children. Children can use computer to study about their subject and find many new knowledge from computer.
• Children will know about every part or every tools of computer and they can follow improving technology well.
• Children can find and play many games that make them more active. The games teach children about how make strategy, how to survive, role play and etc

THE DISADVANTAGES

• The worst impact of computer for children is children imitate negative thing from computer as like violence and pornography.
• Children limit social interaction. If children always spend their time using computer they will lose their time to play with their friend in the real life.
• Children can be lazy to read and study because they prefer play games on computer rather than do their homework.
• Computer will affect children’s health as like eye health if they play passes a predetermined threshold.

So the conclusion of this case is everybody can use computer but we must guide children when they use computer. Their parents should give the children comprehension to use computer.
