Â In 712 AD, the Umayyad's Governor in Ifriqiyah, Musa ibn Nushair follow Thariq to Spain and conquer Medina Sidonia, Carmona, and Sevile. But, Umayyad Caliph in Damascus called Musa and Thariq to return to Islamic territories. The next conquest is done by Musa's Son, Abdul Aziz who conquer Portugal and Catalonia.
