Palembang, the 2nd largest city in Sumatera Island is very popular with various of food. There are many kinds of from we can find on this city. Depend on my opinion, Empek-empek is most delicious. Tourists who visited Palembang commonly enjoy the Empek-empek Palembang. At least there are 3 places of Empek-empek shop who offer recomended delicious empek-empek. First is empek-empek Dempo, located in Jln. Depo Dalam, Palembang. There are a lot of Kinds of empek-empek sold in here, like lenjer (pempek panjang), kapal selam (pempek with eggs ), pempek tahu, pempek adaan (pempek circle), and pempek pepaya (likes pastel with papaya shavings). Also Empek-empek Kerupuk, which has form like noddles. all kinds of empek-empek have two size, large and small. The Second Empek-empek shop which populer and has many visitor is empek-empek Noni. This shop located on Jln. Kolonel haji Burlian, front of police office. similar with Empek-empek Dempo, in here you can find a lot of Empek-empek types in two size. Empek-empek Noni also offers Kerupuk and kemplang (almost similar with kerupuk). Ones place who offers delicious Empek-empek is Empek-empek Pak Raden. This shop also popular in Palembang. which offer Kerupuk and dry Tekwan. If we want to bring Empek-empek, dont worry because we already provided box packaging so its safe during trip.
