Netizens Commented on Tempo's Editorial News Because It Was Deemed Deviant and Only Served to Influence Public Opinion

The Tempo editorial news about the dismissal of TNI members who were declared LGBT on June 9, 2022, was commented on by netizens because they were considered deviant and only led to opinions. The story begins with two TNI soldiers who were sentenced to be fired and imprisoned after being found to be homosexual.

On June 9, 2022, Tempo.com published editorial news titled Discrimination Against the Dismissal of LGBT Soldiers. The news is known to have been shared on the website newspapers.tempo.co, the official Instagram @korantempodigital, and @tempo.co, as well as the official Twitter @korantempo. In the news, Tempo seems to give a view of his disagreement with the Indonesian National Armed Forces who took this step of dismissal. The reason for the disapproval is that there is no article in the TNI Law that regulates sexual orientation. Tempo stated that the dismissal of the two members of the TNI was a form of discrimination against the constitution.
