            According to the data IOM has released under the title of "Mixed Migration Flows in the Mediterranean Sea" showed us that from January-March 2018, Pakistan ranked 4th in top 10 nationalities arrival by sea in Italy, with the number of 288 people consist of 258 adult males and 4 adult females. In many cases, this migrants are very vulnerable, travels the sea with a boat through the routes that might be illegal.

            However, this migrants actors needs to be taken seriously, because they have taken a deadly journey, from the data shown by IOM, 1.306 people were killed attempting to reach Italy or Malta through the central Mediterranean last year, the UNHCR also shown a shocking data, the claimed 2.240 people died or went missing crossing the Mediterranean in 2018. The main reason they travel the deadliest routes in the Mediterranean Sea is because of many factors, like what Ernest Ravenstein concluded in his migration theories, he believes that migration happens because some sort of push and pull factors.

            What we, The Pakistan Government are facing is more likely to be called as internal matters, connected to this Mediterranean sea migrant cases, the push factor is; first, religious prosecution and individual fear from violence is still high in our country, those who are Christians, Hindus, Atheist and Ahmadi Muslims are more likely to experience this violence and individual discriminations and persecutions, regarding with jobs, housing and loans, Second, the war has become a great civil issue, the Insurgency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is one of the following issue in North-West Pakistan, involving Pakistan and armed militant groups, Third, the most challenging issue we are facing is the economical problem, according to the data by the interviewed Migrants on the Eastern Meditteranean route about reasons for leaving the country, 53 out of  81 respondent answers economical reasons is their reason for leaving the country. The Bureau of statistics released data that the total unemployment rate stood at 5.9 percent in 2014-15 in Pakistan, the sixth most populous country in the world. With literacy rates estimated at 55 percent in 2015.

            Regarding with the boat migrants in the Meditteranean Sea crisis, Pakistan proposes some solutions;

  • Establish a clear procedures on the sea routes, this might be the most effective way to save thousands of live, because by having official routes, it's easy for the recipient country to monitor the people traffics heading up to their country especially the EU countries must align the procedures, so that every movement is easily controlled.
  • The problems experienced by the migrants must be considered as humanity agenda, and must be solved by nations and international organizations, mainly the problem is because of civil wars and economy, then international organization/ nations can take part in educating young Generation so that the can upgrade their capacity, help their nations to thrive in their economical problems so that migrants flow can be controlled.
  • Strengthen the law enforcement in the cross border, like in the Libya, country which has been the embarkation place to Europe, so that no people/ officials gaining money for their private gain such as the human trafficking.
