Cozy Lunch Club

It was a lunch break on the busy day. I went to the office canteen. I took the regular table that we usually had lunch. When I was putting my lunch box on the table, the seat was almost full with all colleagues. Those were the regular colleagues who were used to accompanying me for lunch time. Once I called them (and all those colleagues are agree)-lunch club. Ha ha.

Before I took the seat, the table was dirty. Those litters were scattered on the table wherein I had my dinner. All colleagues were smiling as I collected peanut crust, ash, plastic, food wrapping paper, and banana leafs. On my back they said,” Oh this guy is cleaning the table “. I responded them with a brief smile. It was not a general smile as I’m a working class, not a general. Ha ha. With my both hands full of rubbish I walked 20 meter (round trip) to the nearby trash-can and threw those garbage.

I returned to the table and opened my lunch box with the large smile. It was a smile of the cattle seller witnessing the fat cow. I feel aroused with the appetite for having lunch on the cozy and clean table. Off course It was awesome having lunch accompanied by friendly colleagues with the delicious meal.

I wonder how those colleagues can stand having lunch on the table littered with the rubbish. If I had to move to the other more clean table, I would have missed the nice chit-chat. I chose to pick that garbage and walk to the dust bin, get rid of those litter. Otherwise I will have lost my appetite.

The question is that which one make your lunch looks tasty? Is it the food, your tongue or your mind? You should be grateful if you can taste the delicious food at any circumstances. Well, for me it is the mind that made the food looks delicious. I wonder if the hostages in the movie would feel hungry when the gun pointed to the head with the trigger ready to click. Maybe your cell phone keep ringing while your mouth chewing favorite goat meat? Would that food be flavorsome for you? The Chatting some topics and jokes on the clean and cozy table makes my lunch so great, because of the nice colleagues sitting nearby.
