Bali as a Putin-Zelensky Neutral Place

The massive attack launched by Russia against Ukraine is still ongoing today (1/3/2022). A meeting in the context of negotiations between the governments of the two countries was held yesterday in the Gomes area, Belarus (28/2/2022).

The supreme leaders of the two countries did not wish to attend, but delegated them to their respective subordinates.

However, the results of these negotiations still resulted in deadlocked conclusions. The two representatives of the warring governments eventually returned to their countries to negotiate with the head of state. Plans for further negotiations have also been prepared. 

Indonesia as the holder of the presidency of the Group of Twenty (G20) from December 1, 2021 until the G20 Summit in November 2022 has a strategic role in this, where all the world's eyes are currently on Indonesia.

This is very good if the Indonesian government uses it to propose itself as the initiator of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia in the territory of the country.

Referring to the values held by this nation as enshrined in the opening of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, where Indonesia has the characteristic of free and active politics which in the global community has a role in carrying out world order based on independence, eternal peace and social justice.

As the G20 Summit will be held later this year on the island of the Gods, Bali, it is very appropriate if the Island of the Thousand Gods is also chosen as the meeting place for Putin and Zelensky in determining the attitude of peace between the two countries.

This meeting is very good if it is held at the beginning of this month considering that there have been so many casualties, both from the Russian military, and the Ukrainian military and even civilians.

This beautiful island in the east of Java Island is very appropriate in quelling the heated action of the two countries which also caused a response from high-ranking officials from other countries to international organizations such as the United Nations (UN) and the European Union, which desperately wanted an end to this dispute.
