What is the rule of law?

Such as expert opinions the rule of law is the concept of "common law" are all aspects of a country that upholds the rule of law is built on the principles of justice and egalitarian. So the rule of law is a law legalism which contains the idea that justice can be served through the creation of regulatory systems and procedures are objective, impartial and not personal.

However, based on the rule of law form a public authority which arranged all legal. So in this respect the substance of the rule of law is closely related with the legislation in force. Countries that adopt this system, among other countries, the United States, England, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and India. While in our country, the country of Indonesia embrace continental European system (civil law).

So is the concept of the rule of law, the concept of the rule of law is very important in the national law (Anglo-Saxon), due to a constitutional democracy as a political system program and the concrete. Where democratic government is a government of limited powers and are not allowed to act arbitrarily against its citizens.

As for the rule of law is the supremacy of law, which means that a person can be punished when someone violates the law. And the same position in the face of the law.

But our question important RULE OF LAW IN INDONESIA?

Before leading to the above questions, we need to know that our country, the country of Indonesia is a state based on law (rechstaat), that all depends on how sound and text to law in Indonesia is putting the country as a legal subject, so that legal consequences could be prosecuted in court.

In my opinion the rule of law is important in Indonesia as the rule of law is the rule of law is supreme and its position at the top. So each of us good to the state institutions, the legal authorities must abide by the rule of law that has been made. Because the rule of law is also one of the constitution or the laws that apply.
