- Introduction

Most people have experienced some form of mental fatigue. For example, sadness at the loss of a parent, anxiety about the future, anger at not being able to achieve something, experiencing an unwanted event, or self-blame. So what should I do?  Who will heal the wound? Today, many young people are using healing, called self-healing, to overcome whatever problems they are facing. What exactly is healing or self-healing? What does healing mean for today's youth?.  How can you or I solve life's problems without involving others in the process? You may decide to work on it. Alias wants to solve the problem personally. Once the problem is resolved, it often leaves a deeper "residue".

Healing or what is often called self-healing is the process of healing yourself from inner wounds. This method is used when you have emotional trauma that disturbs you. Self-healing helps a person complete unfinished tasks that cause emotional exhaustion.  Everyone is their own best healer. Every heartbreak, every dark past, every bitter experience, every failure in life is just an event. You can deal with each event wisely and heal the wounds left behind. Bad things keep happening in this world, so interpret all these wounds as a test in your life journey. Reading enhances self-healing abilities. That is, reading has a therapeutic effect of calming a tired and restless mind. The proof is that every time we try too hard, the nerves in our brain get tired. Your brain needs soul food to keep it fresh. Like a machine, the brain needs lubrication so that it does not overheat too quickly. This brain nourishment can be done through reading. Fresh and interesting reading will entertain your mind and heart. The portion may need to be adjusted to the personal needs of each individual. Reading provides nutrients to compensate for this lack of energy. Neural responses become more active and function better. This is called the self-healing function

- Literature review

Researcher Approach To complete the research findings, the author used a qualitative descriptive method. According to Bogdan and Taylor (1992), V. Wiratna Sujarweni (2020: 19) explains that qualitative research is research that provides descriptive data, namely oral or written behaviour of the people observed. This approach is expected to provide a detailed description of the language, writing, and behaviour observed in certain individuals, groups, communities, or organisations in certain situations, providing a complete, comprehensive, and holistic picture will be considered from this perspective. According to Darmadi (2013), research methods are scientific methods for obtaining data with specific and useful purposes.
The scientific method means that research activities are based on scientific characteristics that are rational, empirical, and systematic. Moleong's opinion is in line with Bogdan and Taylor (1975) who argue that qualitative research also includes methodologies used in research procedures that produce descriptive data. Descriptive data is data that is written in detailed language.

- Methodology

Data sources were determined using the note method. Listening, understanding, summarising and writing down. Note-taking instructions were taken from the podcast video "Literacy for Healing" on the Basa-basis tv YouTube channel. To strengthen the research, the author also collected opinions and suggestions from friends, friends, and family to address the case raised, as well as looking for various sources of articles, journals, and books to support the research. Research shows that today's teenagers often talk about topics such as healing and self-healing. Especially for those who are going through the worst situations, such as breakups, divorce, disasters, or traumatic events.
This self-healing process often starts even when you are tired from the office workload. They make serious efforts to "escape" from the worst situations in everyday life. Knowledge evolves over time, as do mental health issues. Rapid changes in society lead to changes in lifestyle and modernisation of information technology, and each individual has to adapt to the various needs that exist. These changes can lead to negative effects such as anxiety, stress, and even depression.

- Conclusion

This research shows that the healing process is not just about spending money on holidays, relaxing, forgetting about problems and having fun. But the healing process comes through literacy. Literacy-enhanced healing can also broaden and hone your skills. That way, we can foster a younger generation that loves to read, write and learn new things
