Why do People Take Part Time Job?

People have their own condition in which make them taking some actions and sacrificing some things. There is no exception for college students. Some college students must take a part time job even that is hard for them. The most reason is they have to be an independent individual that take a responsible for their own life.  Especially in, fulfil their need.

There are some advantages for having a part time job. College students can fulfil their own need without depending on their parents. It helps them to learn how to be responsible people. Having part time job also make them learn how to be a good time manager. They can learn how to manage time for their study and for their social life. They can use their free time to contact with family and friends. Finally, having a part time job can help them to learn new things. Especially in learning soft skill to prepare them for their future job.

Besides all the positive sides for having a part time job, some college students still find them difficult to do. They find some disadvantages for having a part time job. They got exhausted. When they have studied all day long and doing assignments, but they have to work at night instead of have a rest. Besides that, having a part time job reduce their time to contact with people. Even they can't follow college organization that actually can improve their soft skills.  Finally, the most dangerous is it can declines their study grade. It happens when they can't manage their time to study and to work.

There are still lots of things that may be considered as positive or negative sides for having a part time job in college students' perspective. All action that we take always have positive and negative sides. The only thing we need to do is being wise to manage our mind so that we can reduce the negative sides.
