For some people world become more dangerous. Peer pressure, free sex, and partying have been popular in our teenager these days. A lot of people get obsessed with celebrity lifestyle. They're trying very hard to have a lifestyle like them. People take them as their role model; someone they look up to. Many movies these days teach us to see their luxurious lifestyle until we are extremely bewitched.

Some movies ask us to grab the message beyond them but most people fail to see that. What they see is their lifestyle or what they possess. Branded stuff, shoes, bags, and dresses that worth for more than $1000. What a lifestyle celebrity they have! Reading a celebrity life style will improve people's knowledge on their favorite celebrities. Afterwards, people will gradually become more obsessed whom they are with nowadays, what favourite brand they wear, who their enemies are, and how much money they have to spend to satisfy their needs. Sometimes it might be entertaining watching the way they endure their life.

Many Indonesian people these days follow the western culture in both positive and negative ways. Many movies, broadcasted on television follow the western movies. It all starts with the people that get influenced by the western culture. We can notice that by the way people think nowadays. People start thinking that they can follow the way Hollywood celebrities lead.

Looking at teenagers' lifestyle these days, we start understanding that their ways of thinking have been contaminated by the western culture. One of the most popular movies that most teenagers watch is Gossip Girl. Gossip Girl tells story about high school students' lifestyle in Upper East Side Manhattan. This movie is telling about lifestyle that is controlled by money. Furthermore, this movie shows how western culture high school lifestyle talks about money, relationship, scandalous, betrayal  and  peer pressure.

1.1 Clubbing, one of teenagers' favorite activity

Through movie people start following their favorite characters. Through physiology, most teenagers are still in finding their identity stage. What they see is what they learn. Parents are important in this stage to teach their children the right way so that they won't fall into a dark side.

Sometimes media affect their readers' minds positively. In some cases it is good eastern people to have more knowledge about western culture. However, we should see the good and bad sides of it. Looking at the situation happening these days, people become braver to speak up the truth. And not only that, many teenagers are more open to their parents.

But the reality shows different things, according to some information from www.aids-ina.org, there are 45% of Indonesian teenagers did sex before marriage. This is quite surprising, knowing this thing is something taboo in Indonesia. But what is more surprising is  most of those teenagers that did sex before marriage were around 14-24 years and now there is 57,1% HIV issue that's happening in teenagers around 15-29 years. Something that people never think of, is it because the effect of media?
