Certainly understandable but undoubtedly a downhearted news. As a responsible and respected governing body, FIFA has a duty to ensure the safety and security of all players and spectators during major international sporting events.

It is a disappointment for Indonesia to no longer be hosting the U-20 World Cup, we must acknowledge the decision made by FIFA and work towards improving safety measures at our stadiums to ensure future hosting opportunities. After all, U-20 is FIFA's trademark, and we must comply and note that FIFA has every right to cancel or reschedule events if deemed necessary. For those of you who didn't know, engrave these phrases in your mind:

Aside from safety concerns, there are other factors to consider when hosting major international events such as the U-20 World Cup. The costs associated with hosting and organizing such events can be significant and may pose a challenge for countries with limited resources. Additionally, the expected economic benefits may not always materialize as expected.

As passionate Indonesian football fans, it is our shared dream to see our country excel on an international stage. However, to achieve this dream, we got to work together towards creating an ecosystem that nurtures young talent and facilitates their growth and development. Losing the U-20 World Cup hosting status may be discouraging for Indonesian football fans, we accept FIFA's decision and strive to improve safety measures for future events.
