The world's population increase from time to time. The people need more place for living, but the land also is limited. Some people argue that we must open the land in countryside, because the town is crowded and we need the space for living. This argument is not wrong, but it's also not true. We know in the countryside there are many plants, trees, animal, etc. Everything in the countryside is useful, keeping the ecosystem balance. Let's talk how people solve the problem of land requirement.

The earth is consist of the land and the sea. The sea is wider than the land. The population of human is increased, as the human we can't live in the sea, than we need the land for living. There are many land is opened for living area. The forest now is reduced, and it's causes the unbalance ecosystem. There are many disaster happen in the world such as flood, landslide, global warming, etc. the people need land to build the home, but the people also must keep the ecosystem balance and don't break the nature.

Today, we can see in many towns the people build higher building. This building functioned as office and home. In the big town like Jakarta, many people live in the flats. The flats are an example how people solve the problem of land requirement. The flat is builded on the narrow land and can be lived by many people. Then by building the flats we don't need to open the countryside and don't break the ecosystem balance.
