Challenges for Young Adolescents
Building logical sentences can be difficult for many young learners, particularly when they are learning a foreign language. Common problems are:
Lack of  understanding of the functions of sentence components
Creating sentences that are hard to follow.
Writing incomplete thoughts or poorly structured ideas.
By using fun and engaging activities, teachers can help students overcome these challenges and learn effectively.
Step-by-Step Guide to Teaching Theme and Rheme
Start with Simple Definitions and Example; Begin with easy explanations and examples. Write sentences on the board and use colors to separate the theme and rheme, like this:
"The duck (theme) is leaking loudly (rheme)."
"My school (theme) has a small playground (rheme)."
Ask students to identify the  themes and rhemes in similar examples. Use topics they're familiar with to keep things relatable.
