Abstract

With the existence of KMA 624 of 2021, it is hoped that Islamic religious education in madrasas can positively contribute to forming a generation that has an inclusive, tolerant understanding and promotes harmony between religious communities. The application of religious moderation values in madrasas can be made through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) which integrates moderation values, such as tolerance, harmony, and justice in the curriculum. Apart from that, the development of extracurricular programs that promote interfaith dialogue, social activities, and cooperation between religious communities can also be part of implementing the value of religious moderation in madrasas. Academic and managerial supervision supporting the integration of religious moderation values in the teaching and learning process is also important to ensure the consistency and effectiveness of implementing these values. This includes setting standards, training for teachers and educational staff, monitoring implementation, and collaborating with external parties who have expertise in religious moderation. With this approach, madrasas can create an educational environment that promotes tolerance, inclusiveness, and harmony between religious communities, as well as help to form a generation that understands the importance of peace and cooperation between religious communities. Madrasas need to integrate the value of religious moderation in the teaching and learning process at madrasas. In the context of academic and managerial supervision, this approach aims to create an educational environment that is inclusive, and harmonious, and promotes tolerance between religious communities. Supervision targets include teachers and teaching staff, curriculum, students, and the madrasah environment. The suggestions provided include standard setting, training and development, monitoring and feedback, and collaboration with external parties. This is intended so that the implementation of religious moderation values can be integrated effectively into every aspect of learning. It is hoped that these steps can create an educational environment that promotes tolerance, inclusiveness, and harmony between religious communities by integrating the value of religious moderation in the teaching and learning process effectively and sustainably.
