(Short Conversation) Electric Car Is Not a New Invention

A: It seems that sooner or later all fosil fuel vehicles in the world will be replaced by electric ones. A good news, huh?

B: Absolutely. As we know, it's meant to protect our environment. Global warming and other natural disasters have warned us the importance of inventing the more natural-friendly technology. 

A: As a user of Transjakarta (TJ) buses, did you ever notice about electric TJ buses traveling around in the street of Jakarta? 

B: Just in general observation. As far as I know, TJ management has deep concern to use more e-buses from time to time. Nice. Let's hope the air pollution in Jakarta can be reduced step by step by operating more e-buses in the street.

A: As a simple and introvert person, you must find the presence of TJ buses as a favorite transportation for you, right bro?

B: Haha... yes, it's true. I'm not interested in using MRT or LRT. The stations are very rare and not practical for me. Of course, it doesn't mean those public transportation are bad. Local government is only trying to provide more alternative of transportation for public. 

A: Hey, don't you know that actually e-car was already invented many decades ago? It's not something new, bro. Back then, some other cars were also powered by steam or gasoline.

B: Ah... yes, I read the info on internet. If I'm not mistaken, e-car back then was not developed any further because gasoline supply was still plenty and cheap. Using e-car was very expensive and not practical back then. So, in short, today we actually just re-invent and re-use the "old school" technology from more than a century ago... haha.
