A: Let's talk something simple and fun. Many people say humor is good for health.

B: It depends on the humor, I guess. Some jokes are not funny and even offensive toward religion or beliefs. These kind of jokes are certainly not good and unethical. Let's not make jokes like that in any form or media.

A: Yes, sir... haha. I agree with you, bro. You seem to be able to make "big idea" in simple form. Anyway, I like your blogs because they're simple yet have good ideas in it. Don't be flattered, OK? Stay humble. Besides, no blogger or writer is perfect, right?

B: True. Hey, have you ever heard about the term of "zoning out"? It's something new for me, although I had experience as an English teacher for quite a while. This term seems related to reading book. In general, this term means we're "out of focus" in the middle of reading activity. Why does it happen you think?

A: The person basically doesn't like reading, maybe? You know, if people are forced to read... they will do that reluctantly. I mean, reading needs basic willingness from the person, right? If we are forced to do something we don't like, naturally we can be "out of focus" easily.

B: You're probably right. In my point of view, this might be also caused by the books or the writers themselves. As we know, some books are so thick that people directly feel reluctant to read it. Not mention that some writers prefer to use long and complex sentences in delivering their ideas. I didn't mean to say all thick books must be boring, OK? Maybe as a writer, we must know reader's point of view in reading. Readers are busy people who have many other activities too. Let's avoid writing in long and complex sentences too often.

A: Bravo, man. You already sound like a "writing master" to me... haha. Just joking. Anyway, speaking about joking maybe reading comic books can be a good alternative to avoid "zoning out"? You know comic books, they're more pictures with fewer text. To be honest, I like reading comic books better than the text ones... haha.

B: It's OK, no problem. Comic books are for all ages, not only for children. But be careful, not all comic books are good to read. We're now living in "confusing world". Sometimes bad ideas and good ideas mix together. Anyway, about comic books... I like Tintin and Asterix. They're fun and full of humor. Let's go to my house and enjoy my comic books collection. Let's escape from this "cruel world" for a while... haha.
