A: Is it wrong to be famous or popular in something? Do you think famous people must be arrogant?
B: It's OK, nothing is wrong with it. The problem is... sometimes hard to remain humble, once people become famous.
A: Sooner or later, you might be well-known by public from your works. Does it worry you much?
B: Yes, it does. In my opinion, people don't need to know the writer's face. Just read the works, take some benefits, and act normally. Pretending nothing happens... haha. To be honest, being famous or popular is not my target in writing.
A: But, you can't hide forever, right? Sometimes there will be blogger-writer-gathering, book fair, or something like that. You're not interested in attending one?
B: Interested, but not much... haha. Don't get me wrong. It doesn't mean I'm selfish. I just don't feel comfortable in people-gathering. You know... some people are smokers, "tone deaf", "toxic-typed", etc. No one is perfect, I know. I just enjoy with myself.Â
A: I see. Maybe there're many other bloggers or writers in Indonesia --or around the world-- have the same type like you. I just heard writing and blogging is really more suitable for introvert people. But, as an uncle, you sometimes make joke with your nieces, right?
B: Of course. I feel "safe" in my family's house. I have many hobbies to accompany me at home. Somehow, it seems I already made preparation from long ago... to become an old introvert man like I am now. I'm alone, but I'm happy with my small family.Â
A: Nice to hear that. Just keep on blogging and writing, then...
B: Thanks. Sometimes I'm offline too. It's not good too much online.Â
