(Short Essay) My 50 Favorite Movies of All Time

It's Saturday, guys... time to relax. I'm sure many of us like watching movies. Some other people might prefer doing something else. It's OK and nothing's wrong with that, right? It's impossible to expect everyone to have the same interest like we do. Speaking about movies, there're many good movies ever released since early 20th century. At first, movies were produced in very simple form... black and white-colored or even silent. Today in 21st century, movies are produced in very sophisticated style using many special effects in order to entertain people around the globe. Now, I'd like to list my 50 favorite movies of all times.  

Here we go: 1. Ben-Hur (1959). It's an American religious epic film, directed by William Wyler, and starred by Charlton Heston as the title character. It was released long before I was born... haha. I watched it from video. 2. The Defiant Ones (1958). It's an American drama film which tells the story of two escaped prisoners, one white and one black, who are shackled together and must cooperate in order to survive. It was starred by Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier. 3. The Good The Bad and The Ugly (1966). It's a western movie directed by Sergio Leone and starred by Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach. I don't like the first two of this movie. 4. Dirty Harry (1971). It's an action movie starred by Clint Eastwood. 5. Serpico (1973). It's an American biographical crime drama film starred by Al Pacino. 

Next: 6. Jaws (1975). It's an action movie about shark terrorizing people swimming in the beach town. Directed by Steven Spielberg and starred by Roy Scheider. 7. Riders Of The Lost Ark (1981). It's the first Indiana Jones movie and starred by younger-looking Harrison Ford. 8. Nighthawks (1981). It's an action crime thriller starred by Sylvester Stallone. 9. Scarface (1983). It's an American drama crime film directed by Brian De Palma. Starred by Al Pacino. 10. Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom (1984). It's Indiana Jones second movie. 11. Commando (1985). It's an action movie starred by Arnold Schwarzenegger. 12. Rambo II (1985). An action war movie starred by Sylvester Stallone. 13. Rocky IV (1985). An American sport drama film starred Stallone. 14. Cobra (1986). An action cop movie also starred by Stallone. 

Carry on... 15. Aliens (1985). A science fiction thriller movie and starred by Sigourney Weaver. 16. Predator (1987). A jungle action adventure with science fiction starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. 17. Die Hard (1988). An action cop movie starred Bruce Willis. 18. The Dead Pool (1988). It's an action movie starred Clint Eastwood as "Dirty Harry". 19. Red Heat (1988). An American buddy cop action comedy film starred by Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Belushi. 20. Die Hard II (1990). The sequel of Die Hard. Starred by Bruce Willis. 21. Dances With Wolves (1990). An American epic western film starred and directed by Kevin Costner. 22. Terminator II (1991). A futuristic action movie starred by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

A biographical kungfu movie starred by Donnie Yen and Mike Tyson. 40. Ip Man 4 (2019). An action kungfu movie still starred by Donnie Yen. 

The last 10 movies are... 41. Invasion USA (1985, action, Chuck Norris), 42. Enter The Dragon (1973, material art, Bruce Lee), 43. Twin Dragons (1992, action kungfu, Jackie Chan), 44. Trilogy Back To The Future (1985-1987-1989, science fiction), 45. The Silence Of The Lambs (1991, psychological thriller, Jodie Foster), 46. Book Of Eli (2010, post-apocalyptic action, Denzel Washington), 47. RoboCop (2014, science fiction-action movie, Gary Oldman), 48. The Expendables 1-2 (2010, 2012, action), 49. Mission Impossible 4-5-6 (2012, 2015, 2018, action spy movie). The last one is... 50. Johnny English (2003, comedy spy, Rowan Atkinson). Haha... yes, I placed this one in the end as a surprise.
