Kuah Beulangong

Aceh has many culinary that are usually served in certain celebrations, especially Kuah beulangong, this one Acehnese food has a distinctive taste, the word Beulangong comes from the Acehnese language itself, and it means pot. In Indonesia we said Belanga. It is called Kuwah Beulangong because they cook it in a large pot. This food is very delicious and eaten with warm rice with abundant gravy.

Besides having a delicious taste, Kuah Beulangong has its characteristics when cooking it. By using beef or goat plus young jackfruit, young bananas or young banana stems, and other secret spices. It is not easy to make, because it uses a large cauldron. Therefore, cooking must be crowded and requires more energy to stir it, no wonder it is rare for women to cook it. Cooking Kuah Beulangong takes about 2 hours

Kuah Beulangong itself is often found at certain events, such as Maulid events, Keunduri Blang, weddings, and other events. But now this beulangong sauce can be found anywhere, one of which is in the Mangat Rasa which is located in Geurute. you want to feel the sensation of the deliciousness of Kuah Beulangong, you don't have to bother waiting for the event.

Kuah Beulangong there served is very appetizing, especially eaten while it is hot. Mangat Rasa is always filled with visitors from Acehnese themselves to tourists who are seen there.

The peak of the mount of Geurute located on Banda Aceh-Meulaboh road is a favorite icon in Aceh which has become an amazing stopover place.
