Sunset di Kebun: A New Experience of Enjoying Music While Picnic that Become a New Trend in The Event Industry

Sunset di Kebun is a music concert event held at the Bogor Botanical Gardens on April 27–28, 2024. The concept of this event carries the concept of intimate show concerts while picnicking, which aims to provide a closer experience between the audience and the artist. In addition, this event aims to educate the public about nature conservation through music and activities related to the environment. The concept of concerts while picnicking is trend in the event industry these days. 

Different from other festivals, intimate shows provide several different experiences, such as an audience that is closer to the artist, a more intimate feel, better sound quality, limited audience size, and suitable for families. The audience can try a new experience of watching the show while having a picnic, can see the beautiful scenery of Bogor Botanical Garden, can also enjoy the fresh and cool air, and last but not least of course the educational music program that talks about conservation.

Sunset at Bogor Botanical Gardens presents top musicians divided into two days of performances. On the first day, there were performances from Dere, Idgitaf, White Shoes & The Couple Company, Tulus, and Music Exploration. On the second day, there were performances from Bilal Indrajaya, Fiersa Besari, Pamungkas, and Nadin Amizah.

The thing that distinguishes Sunset at Kebun from other performances is that by carrying out the theme Intimate Music with Green, Conservation, and Culture Movement, the audience will be invited to a closer atmosphere with their favorite musicians, a more intimate feel will be felt, the audience is more relaxed to enjoy the music more deeply, and even the musicians will also mingle with the audience in the cool afternoon atmosphere of Kebun Raya, “said the General Manager of Event Kebun Raya, Abi Irawan. 

In the future, we can expect to see more innovative and creative outdoor concert experiences emerge. We hope that the younger generation will come to Kebun Raya often, learn about trees and plants, and become our partners in protecting Indonesia's biodiversity.
