Dengan melakukan proses fermentasi self-cycling, dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses ini dapat menurunkan capital cost seperti ukuran atau jumlah fermentor atau dapat memotong biaya operasional yaitu waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk fermentasi, meningkatkan produksi etanol yang dapat dihasilkan.Â
