Some Easy Tips On Engaging Other to Understand English

The agenda held on Monday yesterday, October 14, 2024, really helped us English language and literature students in knowing some tips on how to attract people around us when they want to learn English, want to understand English more easily and how they make it easier to memorize English because most people when they know English lessons will feel bored and lazy to learn, so we need some interesting tips for this.  Mr. Andrew hunt, M.A as the senior academic manager of English First yesterday during the class gave very interesting tips, starting from how to interact with students, then students began to practice and think creatively with a certain time in creating an effective environment for learning English.

So initially Mr. Andrew gave several examples of problems that are often faced by students who want to learn English, such as most people will really dislike grammar and vocabulary, they say it's hard in the mythical stories of people, but Mr. Andrew yesterday broke that myth, how Mr. Andrew invited students to learn to express themselves and their feelings through English, then invited to talk with their group of friends, then when someone explained something then the other friend had to give an expression from several stories that had been told earlier, such as shock, sadness, fascination, sadness, happiness, and all other feelings. Students are also invited to be able to describe something, for example yesterday given some pictures such as pasta, satai, and other foods, then some students will come forward and ask each other, such as what is the name of this food, where do you eat it, when do you usually eat this, or describe the taste of the food, the student who is questioned will answer and then change to question the one next to him, This is one of the tips that students will easily understand and learn to speak in English through small conversations with friends that are practiced continuously.

Then the next tip when teaching is that you have to look directly into the eyes of the audience being taught, this makes the interaction directly locked and can focus on what is explained in front, by looking into the eyes one by one of the students being taught, the students are more able to understand and easily capture what is explained. But don't be too tense, just make it relaxed by filling in some jokes and games that directly involve students so that they can easily capture the vocabulary being taught, such as guessing games, or being told to act out the word to their classmates, or by filling in the missing words in a song lyric, I think these are effective tips when wanting to learn English.
