The use of skin care is considered to help to maintain the health of facial skin. The use of the right type of skincare can certainly make facial skin more radiant and bright. The use of skincare is not only for adults, babies also use skincare to avoid skin problems. Nowadays it's very easy to find various kinds of skincare, various kinds of offline stores, and online, you can get skincare reviews easily. Therefore, before buying skincare, you can adjust it to your respective skin problems, of course, skincare is compatible, so not everyone is compatible with the skincare that other people have reviewed. The price of skincare which is quite expensive is sometimes an obstacle for some people. However, not all expensive skincare you need to compare the main composition you need. It would be better if you get cheap skincare but suitable for your skin.

Before you buy skincare, you should first find out what your skin type is. Dry, normal, oily, combination, sensitive skin, and more. If you already know what your skin type is, then you can buy according to your skin type and skin problems. For beginners, you can start with basic skincare, namely:

  • Micellar water
  • Face wash
  • Moisturizer
  • Sunscreen

Usually, people who have sensitive or dry skin will avoid products that contain perfume, alcohol, SLS, and others. People who have oily or acne-prone skin, usually avoid products that contain mineral oil, silicon, and others.

We often hear or see the word 10-step Korean skincare, usually, they will use 10-step skincare if the basic skincare has been fulfilled and fits their face. The 10 steps of skincare are:

1. Micellar water/oil cleanser/cleansing balm

The difference is that micellar water is suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin, cleansing oil is suitable for all skin types, and cleansing balm is suitable for dry skin. Even if it doesn't suit your skin type, that's fine. Using cleansing oil and cleansing balm is very easy and saves time.

2. Face wash

Look for a face wash that is suitable for your skin type and that your skin doesn't feel tight after washing.

3. Exfoliator

To remove dead skin cells that are on the outermost layer of the skin, you can use an exfoliator. Dead skin cells that are not cleaned regularly can accumulate and make skin dull, dry, and even acne prone. There are 2 types of exfoliators, namely physical exfoliators, and chemical exfoliators. Using a physical exfoliator is only able to clean the surface of the skin, usually, the face becomes soft after exfoliating or is often referred to as a scrub. Chemical exfoliators can clean not only the surface of the skin but also deep into the pores, usually, chemical exfoliators are packaged in toners, and serums. Using an exfoliator according to personal needs and desires, wanting to use a physical exfoliator or a chemical exfoliator used 2-3 times a week is better at night. The next day, don't forget to reapply sunscreen every 2 hours, because the skin after exfoliating will be more sensitive.
