Crossing the Distance

To my family and friends who were there,  
I smile as I welcome each new day,  
With memories that light my way,  
And guide me like a shining star.

Even though distance separates us,  
Your voice echoes in my heart.  
At every dawn, I remember you,  
The precious bonds of time cannot be erased.

Through every moment, near or far,   

You live in the arms of my soul.  
No distance dims the light we share,  
Your presence is always there.
