Just like locking your door to protect your home when you go out. Networks, computers, and data must be cyber-secure. Cybersecurity is the protection of internet-connected systems from threats in cyberspace. Covers software, data, and hardware protection to prevent cybercriminals from accessing your devices and networks.

The threat of cybercrime has grabbed the attention of the international community, with experts from various disciplines predicting that advanced cybercrime control dams or air traffic control systems could wreak havoc and kill millions of people. It also promotes a scenario in which national security itself is destroyed. The potential threat of cybercrime is indeed very worrying. Our society's increasing reliance on information technology is creating new forms of vulnerability, allowing terrorists to gain access to targets such as national defense and air traffic control systems.

The more technologically advanced a country is, the more vulnerable it is to cyber-attacks on its infrastructure. The roots of cyberterrorism can be traced back to the early 1990s. At this time, Internet use expanded rapidly, discussions of the emerging "information society" took place, and some research was conducted on the potential risks faced by high-tech-dependent countries.

As early as the 1990s, the National Academy of Sciences launched a report on computer security stating: America is becoming more and more dependent on computers. Tomorrow's terrorists may be able to do more damage with keyboards than with bombs. For example, there is a conference called DEFCON.

This is the largest technology security conference, inviting hackers from around the world to see how easy it is to break into multiple machines and programs, even the voting machine. At a DEFCON hackathon conference an 11-year-old boy. managed to hack into an imitation of the Florida state voting website and change the result in 10 minutes.

He is Emmet Brewer, the 11 years old who successfully hacked the replicated Florida voting site, and isn’t the only child who got into the election system at the DEFCON conference. In total there are about 50 kids ranging in age from 8 to 16 and around 30 of them were able to hack into the imitation election website
