What is happening in Europe and US makes people think that what challenges we will be facing in the near future? Some economist said this will be the biggest financial "disaster" in the world history where some tried not to make it sound "bombastic". How true it's? No one can actually give the 100% correct answer. Then why not we change the question? How you be prepared and minimize the bad impact when the time comes.

From my previous writings, I always encouraged readers to buy our domestic product. I got some feedback asking on how about the price and quality? It's true for some points but let me share my perspective on this. It's a fact that Indonesia is still not that "good" in term of creating new entrepreneurs and human capital. The government and the education institution (University/ school) must seriously think about building the awareness of how important entrepreneur is in their role of maintaining the economic growth.  Another important thing is the human capital. The country should produce more human capital who not only "can" do the job but also have an open-minded and give a good service. Thus the university or education system is playing a big role in this area.

Why we need to do it now? Buying the domestic product NOW will give "room" to our local entrepreneur or local company to grow and improve their service and quality and the most important thing is reducing our dependence on export product. Yes, we can't  100% independent and do everything ourselves but now it's time to focus on creating a strong fundamental before it's TOO late. We do have the market, we do have the natural resources where other countries don't have.

Does ASIAN Free Trade Area make you scare? No, if we prepare a strong fundamental (strong demand on our local product, more local entrepreneur and human capital)
