Abstract
Trademark rights are an integral part of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) that provide legal protection for symbols, names, or logos that serve as unique identifiers of a business. This protection not only helps businesses strengthen their brand image and enhance consumer trust but also adds value in competitive markets. This article aims to explore the concept of IPR, trademark rights, and the importance of brand protection in supporting business competitiveness. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method to analyze various legal documents, scholarly journals, and best practices in trademark protection. The findings reveal that effective trademark protection can prevent rights violations, safeguard business innovation, and strengthen competitive positioning in global markets.
